What is stress?

Stress is not an illness but it can cause an illness. It can cause issues such as: Anxiety, Depression, Digestive Problems, Heart Disease, Memory Problems, Sleep Problems, Weight Gain/Loss.

When stress levels don’t return to normal, pressure over an extended about of time can continue to release stress hormone thus causing depression.


What does stress come from? Friends, Family, Job, Relationships, Situations (i.e. Weddings, Moving, Sickness, Unemployment - the list goes on and on.)

1. EXERCISE…DON’T SKIP LUNCH


2. LISTEN TO MUSIC


3. TALK TO A LIVE HUMAN…KJV. SAYS IN THE MULTITUDE OF COUNSELORS THERE'S SAFETY.


4. RELAXING AWAY FROM YOUR PHONE AND SOCIAL MEDIA AT LEAST AN HOUR BE FOR SLEEP. OUR CREATIVITY COMES OUT JUST BEFORE WE FALL A SLEEP.

5. INTRODUCE YOURSELF TO A NEW HOBBY: TAKE UP PAINTING

6. LEARN A NEW LANGUAGE


7. MEDITATION

WHAT IS A MENTAL HEALTH DAY?

A day of rest away from work.


I AM NOT SICK, I AM OUT SHOPPING, AT A SPA, PLAYING TENNIS, READING A BOOK, LISTENING TO MUSIC, OR maybe I AM JUST TAKING A LONG WALK.
